Did you spend a fortune acquiring a wet mix macadam plant that claims to dial up productivity and lower costs? Did it turn out to be another high-maintenance machine, not different from the ones you already have? Tons of road contractors complain about the high-cost and time-taking maintenance demands of such machines. No contractor likes to put their project on hold for the sake of too-frequent maintenance of a machine.
Such plants do not produce over the promised 170 to 180 tph. Their gears often fail, and their mixers require too frequent maintenance runs. And that’s not all. Things can get much worse. Such a disaster may happen even if you take the trouble of visiting the manufacturing wet mixing plant before buying a machine.
The mistake that most buyers make that get them in the pickle is taking the wet mix plant manufacturer for their word or getting seduced by the price and presentation. Now here you have a machine that was supposed to give you stress-free performance, whereas all it brings to you is woe and headache.
On a flip side, it’s not right to always assume that it’s the manufacturer that is at fault. A machine can break down repeatedly for any number of reasons. Studies have shown that even well-made plants get broken down now and again. So, unless you are a skilled operator or someone with in-depth know how of machines, it’s not safe to arrive at an air-tight conclusion.
Wet Mix Plant for Sale
Atlas Technologies, an eminent wet mix plant manufacturer in India, knows the trials of owning and handling such big equipment. We know that equipment like a wet mix plant are often subjected to rough use. Being committed to projects with imminent deadlines, it is obvious for such a machine to work day and night. So for a buyer, accuracy and productivity both are priorities.
Atlas Technologies brings to you a line of solutions that are tailored to your needs and expectations. Through precise engineering, we have come up with improved designs for wet mix plants that keep the machines rolling nonstop at high productivity. We follow a strict quality protocol whereby we test all our equipment thoroughly before letting them leave the factory.
In the following paragraphs, I will try to explain what makes our wet mix plants better than the others available in the market. Hopefully, I’ll be able to highlight some key advantages of our machines in the process.

Let’s begin at the cold feed bins. These are little storage for the aggregates. In our wet mix plants, we have four of these bins. Our bins can hold all kinds of aggregates, including sand. The bins are outfitted with variable speed drive motors that let users control their required aggregates based on the preferences of the mix. While four bins is a standard in our machines, we have mix plants with more number of storage for aggregates.
The charging conveyor is fitted with a load cell mechanism that individually weighs out all the aggregates before they are passed on to the mixing unit.

Our wet mix macadam unit has very specific advantages which set it apart from all other machines in the market. While designing it, our aim was to build a pug mill mixing unit which is maintenance free and is up to the most grinding work. In that, we make sure that every dollar you spent on the machine you see returns for.
The arms and tips of the machine are supported by twin shafts. Moving in opposite motions, these arms and tips do the mixing job. Both the shafts are propped by three pedestals each. This is because three pedestals do a better job handling torque compared to a single one. With our design, the mill works vibration-free.

Our shafts are 5 inches better than the average ones. What’s the upside of a shaft which is 5 inch bigger? It won’t bend easily, and will continue to function longer than a smaller shaft. We don’t want our clients to have to replace their shafts every few years, so we fixed that.
However, that’s not the end of our efforts to deliver quality wet mix plants to our clients. We worked further on the shafts making them hardier and more functional. To that end, we introduced a UN-slotted design. Also, we introduced distant pieces in the space between the mixing rims. First, this will not leave the shaft exposed, and second, it would not let the material get in contact with the shaft. That means longer life for the shafts in question.
For our soil stabilization plants, we use twin opposite arms like tips as opposed to alternate arms and tips which is a standard in most plants. With that we try to deliver a faster, more homogenous mixing action as a buyer would expect from such a machine.
Our machines have replaceable liner plates, like the arms and tips. To further aid the users, we price the spare parts as low as possible so that you get good quality parts for less. All our wet mixing plants have optimized storage silos that enable uninterrupted production without any stoppage in events of delay.
We also offer storage solutions for occasions of extra cement in addition to the pug mill. If your mix design demands it, we have you covered. We have a standard control panel for all our machines, but if you like, we can upgrade that to a PLC panel.
